Reconfigurable Electromagnetic Metadevices: Plasma, Metasurfaces and Beyond
(co-funded by IEEE AP-S TC4: Metamaterials)

22-23 July 2026
Roma Tre University – Department of Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
Rome, Italy

The PULSE Doctoral School is designed for PhD students, MSc students, early-career researchers, and professionals interested in acquiring a deeper understanding of modern electromagnetic metadevices and plasma-enabled wave manipulation technologies.
The programme combines fundamental concepts with examples drawn from the research activities carried out within the PULSE project.

Participants will gain exposure to topics including:
– Electromagnetic nonreciprocity
– Metasurfaces and metagratings
– Plasma physics fundamentals
– Plasma modelling and simulation
– Electromagnetic simulations of advanced metadevices

REGISTRATION
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required HERE.
Please note that the number of available seats is limited. We therefore encourage interested participants to register as early as possible.
